We visited Rynelrich in 2004. It took a while before we found the ruin – it’s not marked on modern maps. But here it is, a one-bedroom stone ruin set in a small dip in the valley. There was a small stream nearby which would have provided fresh water. I would imagine that the family would have attempted to grow some hardy crops, and keep a few chickens. Beyond this, details are thin.
